\u2018STUDY BLITZ’ FOR THE STATE EXAMS; 10am to 5pm daily <\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

3RD & 6TH Students can come to \u2018The Carlow Academy\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and make the most of their study in the last few days before the State Exams begin \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 hours 30 minutes of study on offer per day <\/em><\/strong>☺ <\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Total number of hours over the 9 days = 49 hours 30 minutes <\/em><\/strong>☺<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Supervised study will run ahead of the State Exams for 9 full days<\/strong> including the June Bank Holiday Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Study Sessions:<\/strong> 10am-11.30am, 12pm-1.30pm, 2.15pm-3.45pm, 4pm-5pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breaks<\/strong>: 11.30am-12pm, 1.30pm-2.15pm, 3.45pm-4pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we provide: <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Please note the following important points<\/strong>: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  • Supervised Study at all times by all qualified secondary school teachers.<\/li>
  • No mobile phones- all students will place their phones in our very own \u2018mobile home unit\u2019 area during all sessions in the pouch number that corresponds with their desk number.<\/li>
  • Computer area and canteen area for breaks (including a bean bag chill out area) <\/li>
  • An educational based library of resources for students to use on site; students must return the resources when finished using them so they can be shared with others<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    • You do not have to be a member to attend. <\/li>
    • First preference will be given to \u2018The Carlow Academy\u2019<\/em><\/strong> existing members<\/li>
    • However places must be reserved in advance to ensure availability as places are limited<\/li>
    • Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. <\/li>
    • Fees are due upfront to secure your spot- places are not reserved until fully paid for.<\/strong><\/li>
    • Fees are non- refundable and non- transferable. <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Students are encouraged to bring their own food and fruit\/healthy snacks to keep them focused and there is fresh water on site to fill up water bottles.
