Easter Supervised Study will run for 2 weeks over the Easter Holidays
10am to 3.30pm daily
(8 full days of study in total excluding Good Friday & Easter Monday)
You can book Week 1 OR Week 2 OR Both Weeks
What we provide:
- 4 hours 30 minutes of study on offer per day ☺totalling 36 hours of solid study
- Supervised Study at all times by all qualified secondary school teachers.
- No mobile phones- all students will place their phones in our very own ‘mobile home unit’ area during all sessions in the pouch number that corresponds with their desk number.
- Computer area and canteen area for breaks (including a bean bag chill out area)
- An educational based library of resources for students to use on site; students must return the resources when finished using them so they can be shared with others
Please note the following important points:
- School Holiday Supervised Study is open to students of all years (1st year to 6th year).
- You do not have to be a member to attend.
- First preference will be given to ‘The Carlow Academy’ existing members
- However places must be reserved in advance to ensure availability as places are limited
- Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
- Fees are non- refundable and non- transferable.
Students are encouraged to bring their own food and fruit/healthy snacks to keep them focused and there is fresh water on site to fill up water bottles. There is also a fridge and a toaster that students can avail of if needs be or alternatively they can go out for lunch.
Junior Cycle & Leaving Certificate Easter Revision Courses
Junior Cycle courses will run from 9:30am- 3:30pm
Leaving Certificate courses will run from 9:30am – 3:30pm.

- All students will receive exam strategies ahead of the State Exams.
- Exam focused on the following- timing, marking, layout and allocated questions.
Please note the following:
- Courses must be paid for in full in advance of the course to secure the students place.
- Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- No allowance for absenteeism.
LEAVING CERTIFICATE FEES:
Each Subject: €90 for one full day of exam focused content
SPECIAL OFFER: Leaving Cert Higher Level OR Ordinary Level Maths for €165; Day 1 (Paper 1 content) and Day 2 (Paper 2 content)
(split over 2 days due to the heavy course content material that needs to be covered for the Leaving Cert maths exam; see list of topics covered for each day)
JUNIOR CYCLE FEES:
Each Subject: €75 for one full day of exam focused content
SPECIAL OFFER: Junior Cycle Higher Level Maths for €130; Day 1 (Paper 1 content) and Day 2 (Paper 2 content)
(split over 2 days due to the heavy course content material that needs to be covered for the new Junior Cycle maths exam; see list of topics covered for each day)

- Please bear in mind that we need a MINIMUM of 10 students per course in order for it to be able to run effectively for The Carlow Academy so please ask family and friends if they too would be interested in booking in for one of the courses listed above as well as for any subject, level and year group not listed.
